CAREER SERVICES
Career counselors offer students one-on-one counseling services regarding career and academic issues. They also offer on-going workshops and information for graduate school planning, how to work a job fair, internships, resume and cover letter writing, and interviewing skills.

ADVISING SERVICES
The CSD offers programs for first-year students, including assistance with adjustment issues and academic advising. The CSD is the official ‘home’ for all liberal arts undecided students and also provides a group of Peer Advisors to assist all UMF students.
COUNSELING SERVICES
Personal counselors provide experienced, professional counseling in a confidential setting to help students address issues that can interfere with academic life.
TESTING SERVICES
The CSD is a testing site for Praxis I and II, MAT, CLEP, CHES, and TOEFL. Testing services also administers the ACCUPLACER which is used for placement testing in math and writing at UMF
INTERNATIONAL AND EXCHANGE PROGRAMS
The Office of International & Exchange Programs coordinates services for groups and individuals coming from other countries to study or teach at UMF as well as for UMF students and faculty wishing to travel abroad or to other locations in the United States.
